Christmas is approaching, and the succession of events is making me excited...
As the end of 2024 draws near, I feel how quickly time passes (´;ω;｀)
So this month we'll be introducing New Year's events in Yokohama!
Have you decided how you're going to spend New Year's yet? If not, be sure to use this article as a reference!
Speaking of New Year's Eve, it's all about the countdown !
Actually, there is a wonderful countdown event in Yokohama too!(^^)!
A lion dance performance in Chinatown hosted by the Guandi Temple to count down to the New Year !
The event will be held at Yamashitacho Park in Chinatown, and will open at 11:30pm on December 31st!
This event, which features traditional Chinese dancing, lion dancing, and martial arts demonstrations unique to Chinatown, is free to attend!
The event was filled with about 300 people standing, and the countdown to midnight was scheduled to end at 0:20!
It would be fun to celebrate New Year's Eve watching traditional dance!
Once the venue is full, you will no longer be able to enter, so if you want to be sure to get a good seat, we recommend getting there early!

After a relaxing New Year's holiday, why not go to the Dondoyaki festival held at Sea Park?
As many of you may already know, Dondoyaki is an event where shimenawa and amulets used during the New Year are burned.
The lighting of the Dondoyaki at Umino Park will begin at 1pm on January 18th, and the flames are said to reach a height of up to 7m ＼(◎o◎)／!
There will also be a lion dance performance (which overlaps with the Chinatown introduction (o^-^o)) and a big raffle, so even if you don't have anything to burn, you're sure to enjoy it!
Of course, there will be a great festival too! Many delicious restaurants from Kanazawa will be setting up stalls!
I occasionally visit stores in Kanazawa Ward, and no matter where I go, I never disappoint (^▽^)/ I'd love for everyone to try it too 🍚
The beach at Marine Park is beautiful, so you can take a leisurely stroll there, or you can enjoy a trip to Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, which is nearby.
