Tanaka and Sonoda, who are in charge of the front desk, are TS (twins)!
The temperature is rising and it's becoming a comfortable season 😊
May 3rd to June 2nd is Yokohama Port Opening Month, and various events will be held in Yokohama!
This time, we will introduce some of the biggest events (^^♪
■Garden Necklace Yokohama Station 2025 "Yokohama Rose Week" (May 3rd to June 15th)
As a pioneer in promoting "Garden Necklace Yokohama 2025" as a city filled with flowers and greenery, Yokohama is developing the "Garden Necklace Yokohama 2025." Among these, "Yokohama Rose Week" will be held in conjunction with the port opening month.
Roses have long been a beloved symbol of Yokohama, and are at their best in May 🌸
During this period, you can enjoy a stroll through the city of roses, visiting rose gardens throughout the city, rose-themed events, sweets, cocktails, shopping, and more, so be sure to come and visit!
■ Hamafes Y166 (May 24th and 25th)
Celebrating its 166th anniversary since the port opened, Yokohama will be hosting a special two-day event themed on "Yokohama Thanksgiving Festival - Hama Fest Y166, Yokohama's biggest event once a year."
Music: Yamashita Park will be the main venue, and there will be live music, fashion shows, and live jazz at Bashamichi.
Food: There will be a market, a bread festival, a food court with famous restaurants, and more!
Sports: Events planned include skateboarding, dancing, baseball, soccer, trash picking (!), and more!
There will also be a stamp rally and a giant gacha machine.
Some details have yet to be announced, so we look forward to hearing more!
Fireworks are set off every year on the port's opening day, but I hope this year will be a sunny day (^^♪

The port opening anniversary is such a big event that all municipal schools are closed, so if you have the time, be sure to come and participate!
