Requests Regarding the Use of Mobile Batteries

Thank you for your continued patronage of SOTETSU HOTELS.
In recent years, accidents such as smoking and ignition caused by mobile batteries have been reported in Japan and abroad.
In order to ensure the safety and security of all our guests, we ask for your cooperation in the following matters when using mobile batteries in your guestrooms.
・When leaving your room unattended due to going out, please refrain from charging your mobile battery.
・Please charge the device in a location where you can always monitor its status.
・When charging portable electronic devices from a mobile battery, or charging the mobile battery using in-room power outlets, please refrain from using them in the following locations.
- Near a window exposed to direct sunlight
- On beds, sheets, curtains, and other flammable materials
・Do not use mobile batteries that show signs of damage, swelling, or abnormal heat generation.
Please note that during cleaning while you are staying, if any of the above situations are observed, staff may relocate the mobile battery or stop charging it to ensure safety. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
