It's still hot, but it's already September!
It's already autumn! It's early!
There are many things that come to mind when you think of autumn.
Autumn is the season for appetite, art, reading and sports...
It's autumn now, everything is autumn, it's the all-purpose autumn.
For me personally, when I think of autumn, the image that comes to mind is the harvest moon.
Our hotel mascot, "Fresher Panda-kun," has already been transformed into a moon-viewing costume!
It is a festival day to celebrate and give thanks for the autumn harvest, and the custom is to eat and offer autumn harvest produce associated with the moon on August 15th of the lunar calendar.
An example of a food associated with the moon would be Tsukimi Dango, a staple of the moon viewing festival!
There is also a custom of offering silver grass as an autumn harvest.
Pampas grass is one of the seven autumn herbs and is said to ward off disasters and evil spirits.
Last year, I booked a hot spring inn in Atami on the day of the harvest moon.
We enjoyed watching the moon from the open-air bath in Guest Rooms.
How elegant!! LOL
This year's harvest moon falls on September 17th.
Why not enjoy moon viewing on September 17th, the day of the harvest moon?
And be sure to stop by when you visit our hotel!
I would be happy if you could see Fresher Panda lol
All of our staff will continue to work hard to provide you with a relaxing space.
The hot days will continue for a while, so please take care of yourself.
We look forward to your continued support of Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama-Totsuka in the coming autumn.
