The other day, I went to Minato Mirai, which is easily Location from our hotel.

Speaking of Yokohama, of course Yokohama Station comes to mind, but I personally think that if you want to see the fashionable Yokohama cityscape, you should probably go to the area around Minato Mirai Station.

And when you think of Minato Mirai, the first thing that comes to mind is the Yokohama Landmark Tower!

Yokohama Landmark Tower is a high-rise complex building located near Minatomirai Station and Sakuragicho Station, adjacent to Landmark Plaza, a large shopping mall with a total length of 200 meters and a five-story atrium.

The Landmark Tower is the symbol of the Minato Mirai area.
It consists of office buildings, a hotel, shopping floors, and clinic floors.

It will have 70 floors and a height of 296.33m!
This is the third tallest skyscraper in Japan after Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower in Tokyo and Abeno Harukas in Osaka!

By the way, it is the sixth tallest structure in Japan.

During the analog television era, the tower's roof was home to NHK, Television Kanagawa, and the Yokohama Minato Television broadcasting station, a key commercial broadcasting station in the Kanto region.

This time, I visited the observation deck located on the 69th floor of the 70-story Landmark Tower.
We have arrived at "Sky Garden"!!

The Sky Garden is located on the 69th floor, 273 meters above ground.
Take the elevator from the second floor above ground and you'll arrive there at a maximum speed of about 750 meters per minute, or 45 kilometers per hour!

By the way, the speed of this elevator was previously recognized by the Guinness World Records.

At the Sky Garden, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Yokohama Port, Tokyo Bay, and more.
You can see the entire Kanto Plain, including the Boso Peninsula, Miura Peninsula, Izu Peninsula and Mt. Fuji!

You can also see Totsuka, where our hotel is located!

There are also souvenir shops related to the Landmark Tower and Yokohama, as well as a restaurant called Sky Cafe where you can get light meals.

There are also two-seater sofas near the Sky Cafe, so couples, spouses, or friends can enjoy themselves!

There is also a fun spot where a map of Yokohama is projected onto the floor, and when you step on the map, an old map of Yokohama appears!
