Hello everyone!
This is Sotetsu Fresa Inn Fujisawa-Shonandai(^_-)-☆
The 48th Kanagawa Yamato Awa Odori will be held at Yamato Station, four stations away from Shonandai Station, the closest station to our hotel!
It's the biggest event of the summer!!
Dates: Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th, 2024
General dance 16:05-16:20 Shimbashi Street
Location: Yamato Station East Side Shopping Street
Awa Odori, one of the Kanto region's leading dances, began over 40 years ago.
The sight of dancers parading through the shopping district east of Yamato Station in a street performance is truly spectacular!
It is performed to the sounds of flutes, drums, shamisen, and other instruments, so when I hear this, I think, "Summer has come!" (#^.^#)
Many food stalls are lined up in front of the station, making it a fun summer festival.
