Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kamakura-Ofuna higashiguchi('ω')ノ
Well, this time it's the second part of our last walk around Kamakura, where we got off at Nishi-Kamakura Station.
This is where your Kamakura walk begins🚶➡️
From Nishi-Kamakura Station, head to Enoshima, which is about 3.8 kilometers away.
The reason why we head from Ryukomyojin Shrine to Enoshima Shrine is that Benzaiten is the heavenly maiden who admonished the mischievous five-headed dragon.
And the two of them become husband and wife and live happily ever after.
Well, the weather was fine, and the road to Enoshima was flat, making it a perfect day for a walk.
After arriving at Enoshima, we visited each of the Enoshima Shrine's Hetsumiya, Nakatsumiya, and Okutsumiya shrines.
We also went to Enoshima Iwaya, which is further ahead.
It's very cool and you can feel the ocean close by. There is a place at the back of the cave where you can enter with a candle.
As I went deeper and deeper with a candle in hand, a surprising thing happened.
My friend and I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" and "Ahhhh!"
I was so surprised that I screamed for the first time in a while (lol)
Children might cry. (T_T)
However, if you do go to Enoshima, I would like you to take the opportunity to visit Enoshima Iwaya.
After that, I returned to Ofuna Station and had lunch at Kannon Shokudo (^^♪ The food tasted better the longer I walked!
