[Warning] Regarding Fraudulent Messages (Phishing Emails) Leading to Phishing Sites

Thank you for your continued patronage of SOTETSU HOTELS.

In recent years, there have been a number of incidents both in Japan and overseas where customers who have made reservations through online reservation sites have received fraudulent messages (spoofed e-mails) that have been directed to phishing sites posing as these reservation sites.

In some cases, spoofed e-mails have been sent to customers who have made reservations at SOTETSU HOTELS. via OTAs (Online Travel Agents), posing as hotels.

・Our hotel will not contact you via email or chat to request your personal information, credit card information, or payment.
・The hotel will not send you a message with a URL in order to formalize your reservation.

Please refrain from clicking any URLs or attachments included in the message.
We also urge you to exercise caution with emails seeking to obtain such information. Should you receive any suspicious emails or messages, please delete the email itself, set up blocking measures, or contact our hotel directly.
